The Swinger is a classic American cookout grill: a red bowl on wheels with wooden side tables and a shelf below for charcoal and condiments. Its best feature is the cooking grid. It tilts to six positions, so one end sits close to the coals and the other farther away. That lets you cook a rare burger and a well-done one side by side, with no need for a second fire.

The fire grate is raised above the bottom of the bowl, which helps charcoal light faster, keeps ash from smothering the coals and stops the bowl bottom from burning through. An ash dump makes cleanup easy. Vents in the hood and bowl control temperature and save charcoal, and the hood tilts back so you can check food without taking the lid off. When you're done, fold the side tables down and roll it away.
