Fire Magic Legacy 30" Built-In Charcoal Grill with Analog Thermometer

Fire Magic has built grills in California for more than 75 years, and the Legacy is its charcoal grill for outdoor kitchens. It's all 304 stainless steel and sized to sit in an island next to a gas grill. It's for people who want charcoal flavor without a kettle sitting on the patio.

Heat control comes from a crank on the front that raises and lowers the charcoal pan. Bring the coals up for a steakhouse sear or drop them down for slower roasting. Adjustable vents on each side of the hood fine-tune airflow and smoke. A 12-inch-deep warming rack moves over the coals when the hood closes, so it doubles as a second level for low-and-slow cooking. A front charcoal drawer lets you add fuel or smoking chips without lifting the grids.

The cooking grids are Fire Magic's Diamond Sear design: wide, flat-topped 304 stainless bars with a bead-blasted matte finish that leaves bold sear marks and resists sticking.

Fire Magic publishes a 5-year warranty on its charcoal grills and 1 year on the charcoal pan, charcoal grid, thermometer and ash tray.
