Blaze 20" Cast Aluminum Kamado Grill

Ceramic kamados are excellent cookers, but they're fragile. Drop the lid, or let rain soak into the ceramic before a hard freeze, and they can crack. Blaze solved that by casting the entire kamado from solid aluminum up to 1¼ inches thick. It holds heat the way ceramic does, but it won't crack, chip or soak up moisture. Because the aluminum is non-porous, you can use any charcoal, wood or fire starter, including lighter fluid, without it seeping into the body.

The lid seals to the base with a machined tongue-and-groove joint instead of a felt gasket, so there's no gasket to wear out or replace, and the seal stays tight for precise low-and-slow control. The cast exhaust cap is molded in, so it won't fall off or break like a loose daisy-wheel vent. The lid hinge has lift assist, and the hex-pattern stainless cooking grid is hinged so you can add charcoal or wood chunks without removing it.
