The Big Joe III is Kamado Joe's largest and most advanced standalone kamado: a 24-inch ceramic cooker with 450 sq. in. of open grate and the brand's newest features. The SlōRoller is a hyperbolic insert that sits above the fire and swirls smoke and heat around the food, which turns the grill into a true smoker for brisket and pork butt. Take it out and you have a high-heat grill that sears at 750°F.

The 3-tier Divide & Conquer system uses half-moon grates at different heights, so you can sear steaks close to the coals on one side while vegetables roast higher up on the other. The Kontrol Tower top vent is cast aluminum with two adjustments, and it holds its setting when you open and close the dome, which keeps temperatures steady from 225°F to 750°F. A double-thick wire-mesh fiberglass gasket keeps the seal tight. The stainless charcoal basket lifts out to shake ash away from the unburned charcoal, so you're ready for the next cook in seconds.
